Abstract (EN)

In this study, a safety oven control circuit, which has analog and digital parts, is designed theoretically and experimentally. Temperature controlled microprocessor circuits which have cooking algorithms were included in the digital part of the circuit design. In addition, the analog part, which locks the doorlock of the oven at high temperatures, combined to the design. In household ovens, when the temperature of the inside part of the stove exceeds the defined threshold temperature value, the door of the oven must be locked for preventing the users from dangerous conditions. In IEC-60335-1 standarts 4. version A1?s 19.11.2 article, the description of the the safety circuits testing conditions is given. According to the IEC-60335 standarts, even if any components of the safety circuit is damaged, the door of the oven must maintain the locked condition of the oven for the safety, so that the users couldn?t manage to open the oven?s door when the temperature of the oven is at very high levels. Hardware part which is the first major subject of the thesis, includes; digital control circuit and the analog doorlock circuit designs. In the software step of the thesis, software studies were executed. Algorithms and test results are the main scopes of this section.
