Andalusian tafseer muqaddimah

The Andalusian peninsula has become a civilization with the administration of Muslims and has become from the scholarships' point of view of one of the most important geographical areas of the Islamic world. In our thesis, the heritage of this civilization-the works reaching to our time- were analyzed and the contributions to the commentary of tafseer/exegesis were revealed. This study was classified according to the history of the Qur'an, tafseer and methodology of tafseer branches. Also, it tries to reveal the contribution of muqaddimah of tafseer to these branches. In the first chapter of this part of our study, we have briefly tackled the history of Andalusian tafseer and we pointed to the study of tafseer and mufassers that we could reach. Under another heading, we have dicussed the importance of muqaddimah, what subjects it contains, and we identified the different reason that these tafseer's were written for. In the second chapter of the Muqaddimah on the Tafseer of Andalus, We analyzed the eleven Andalusian mufassir by observing the order in their tafseers, and we saw that some of them were short and some of them were pages. We have also seen in this Tafseer muqaddimah that someone includes only legal verses while other include mutashabih verses. In the last part of the second chapter, we discussed in to under two headings of the Qur'an, the tafseer history, the ulûmu'l-Qur'an and the methodology of tafseer which are included in the Andalusian tafseer muqaddimah. As far as we stuyied, we can say that the anti-Sufi and purely rational beliefs about Andalusian tafseers are a generalist approach. We also believe that further study is needed in order to have a clear view of the characteristics of the tafseers of Andalusia.
