ABSTRACT MSc. Thesis DESING OF HYDRAULIC TEST SYSTEM FOR CARDAN SHAFT STATIC FATIGUE TESTS USED IN INDUSTRIAL AREAS Sercan AKIN Tekirdag Namık Kemal University Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences Department of Mechanical Engineering Supervisor: Asist. Prof. Dr. Aytaç MORALAR In this study, it is aimed to investigate the behavior and static fatigue of the cardan shafts used in industrial areas under radial force. In order to carry out this examination, the design of the test device was made and manufactured. In this test arrangement, the axial force obtained by the pistons is converted into radial force. One side of the cardan shaft is fixed and the static fatigue is applied on one side. In this study, various sizes of cardan shafts produced according to DIN standards were tested and reported.
