Abstract (EN)

Due to the presence of active fault lines in our country, earthquake occurrence is frequent. One of the most significant factors causing structural damage is earthquakes. Seismic isolator systems are also used to prevent damages caused by earthquakes. In this study, a prefabricated industrial structure was utilized. A large portion of industrial structures in our country consists of long-standing, often single-story, large-span or single-span reinforced concrete prefabricated structures. In this study, the effects of placing seismic isolators in the column and roof connection area of a prefabricated industrial structure were determined. In this research, a three-surface friction pendulum isolator was employed. The industrial prefabricated structure used in the scope of the thesis was modeled with both fixed supports and seismic isolation, and earthquake acceleration values for four selected earthquakes were applied to the structure. The modeled structure was analyzed using the SAP2000 software package with a non-linear dynamic analysis method in the time domain. The obtained data were compared, and differences in behavior and internal forces between the structure with fixed supports and the structure with seismic isolators were examined.
