The concept of cultural landscape, which is mostly intertwines with the historical environment, is not often included in the planning process. The cultural heritage which spans over prehistorical eras, is not well known both locally and internationally. Most of the historical buildings in the region is either stagnant or in need of emergent conservative intervention. The problems and potentials of the region have been examined and analyzed. In the light of the obtained data, design proposals for the preservation and development of the current potential of the Enez Castle were presented.
