Relationship between resilience and emotional i̇ntelligence of adolescent

The purpose of this research is try to answer to these questions like is there a relationship and difference between emotional intelligence and resilience of adolescent and variables that gender, class, school, number of sibling, education level of parents, marital status of parents, income of parents and free time activities.The research is conducted on 360 students (179 girls, 181 boys) who studies at Zehra Mustafa Dalgıç Profession and Tchnical High School, Sefaköy Anatolian High School and Küçükçekmece Anatolian High School in Istanbul at 2015-2016 educational year.In this research to determine of individual information of students is used 'Personal Informational Form', to measure of resilience of students is used 'Child and Adolescent Resilience Scale' and to measure of emotional intelligence of students is used 'Emotional İntelligence Scale Short Form'. İn this research a model that show the effects of independet variables on dependent variables is analysed with surveys and scales which used in this research, frquency and perceptions of datas found with surveys and scales which used in this research. The results are explained on tables in 'finding' of data. SPSS 15.0 is being used on analysing.The result of this research; general emotional intelligence is effective on reslience. Furthermore only sensuality which is a sub dimension of emotional intelligence is effective on resilience, there is a positive relationship between levels of well being, self control, sensuality, sociality which are sub dimensions of emotional intelligence scale and individual, family/care givers, context/source which are sub dimensions of emotional scale.
