Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to evaluate desk workers in an ergonomic environment and to detect musculoskeletal complaints when they work in an ergonomic environment. In this context, the questionnaire consists of a sociodemographic form, ergonomic information about the workplace, information about musculoskeletal complaints and a Cornell musculoskeletal disorder questionnaire. Within the scope of the research, a questionnaire was applied to 35 desk workers. According to the data obtained, it was determined that the area where pain was felt the most was the lumbar region. Accordingly, the proportion of the participants who stated that they felt pain in the lumbar region 1-2 times during the week and 3-4 times during the week were equal and 8.57%. After the lumbar region, the region where pain is felt the most is the back. The proportions of the participants who stated that they felt pain in the back 1-2 times during the week, 3-4 times during the week and once every day were equal and 5.71%. A statistically significant difference was found between the working time groups in terms of left forearm, right wrist, left wrist, right upper leg, left knee, left lower leg and left foot scores. The left forearm, right wrist, left wrist, right upper leg, left knee, left lower leg and left foot scores of the participants who worked between 1-5 years were statistically significantly higher than the participants with other working periods. It was determined that the neck pain scores of the participants who spent the entire working time using computers were statistically the highest. The right forearm pain, hip pain, left upper leg pain and right knee pain scores of the participants whose chair height could not be adjusted were statistically significantly higher. The neck, right shoulder, left shoulder, back, right upper arm, left upper arm, lumbar and hip pain scores of those who work leaning forward are significantly higher than those who sit upright.
