Object of lover and beloved at Esrâr Dede's di̇vân

When we come to 18th century, it was the Ottoman Empire's falling age. In this century, Ottoman Empire was looked for new ideas and innovation. This goes with the literature too. 18th century was an innovation age for literature in the Ottoman Empire. Esrar Dede lived in this century's second half. Iranian influence in Otoman literature is declined and new trends emerged. One of them is Sebk-i Hindi trend and other one is Localization école. These are the two new windows for the two important literary movements of Ottoman poetry. The most important trend is Localization for us. We examine the lover, the beloved and the rival in Esrar Dede's Divan with perspective of Localization trend. Of course, Şeyh Galib, a close friend of Esrar Dede, has influence Esrar Dede's poetry. We did not ignore this fact when we examine his Divan. We identify the fact of lover, beloved and rival in Esrar Dede's Divan with absolute care and worked rigorous to finish this thesis. Esrar Dede wrote his poems with Localization tradition, but he has his own unique ideas and innovations.
