Abstract (EN)

The main purpose of this study is to determine whether ethical leadership affects knowledge sharing behaviors. The sample of the research consists of 160 personnel working in Nevşehir Oral and Dental Health Center in Nevşehir. The data used in this study were obtained using the questionnaire technique. Data were evaluated using normality, correlation and regression analysis methods. Your ethical leader; exhibiting behaviors such as equality, honesty, justice, impartiality and transparency in the working environment becomes a role model for the employees. The character of the leader is the main determinant of ethical leadership. In order for an ethical leader to be a role model for employees, it is necessary to have characteristics such as social responsibility understanding, moral legal behavior understanding, conscience, honesty, and communication with employees. These features in the leader attract the attention of the employees. Since employees work in such an environment, they treat their colleagues in this way by taking their leaders as role models. The leader's observance of ethical values improves the ability of employees to learn ethical values. Ethical leadership is not just a type of leadership to be applied in the business environment. Being an ethical leader is difficult. The pressure of the top management, the attitudes and behaviors of the employees, the needs of the working environment are the situations that make it difficult to make ethical decisions. For this reason, being an ethical leader is related to the courage of the manager as well as having ethical and moral values. Production, management, marketing and leadership views are constantly renewed with updated information every day. Sustaining the continuity of institutions in the renewed world, seizing opportunities in the competitive environment, keeping up with innovations depends on keeping up-to-date by using the information in place. The success of using the information in place depends on the participation of the participants in the information sharing. Although it is known that information sharing in enterprises positively affects overall success, employees tend to hide information. Individuals act at a distance against information sharing due to competition, threats to interests and similar situations. The absence or inadequacy of information sharing causes situations such as lack of trust among employees, lack of creativity, negative learning efforts, and deterioration of relationship balances. The main purpose of this study is to determine how ethical leadership behavior affects information sharing on employees. The participants of the study consist of personnel working in Nevşehir Oral and Dental Health Center. As a result of the research, it was determined that there is a significant and positive relationship between ethical leadership and knowledge sharing variables. As a result of the research, it has been observed that the ethical leadership approach aims to show what is right for individuals and to encourage them to do the right thing. Individuals were asked to evaluate their leaders on the ethical leadership scale and their colleagues on the knowledge sharing scale. Due to some problems experienced in the survey part of the research, it is thought that Nevşehir Oral and Dental Health Center employees did not respond objectively to the statements in the scales, with the thought that the data would be shared with individuals other than researchers. In addition, some personnel who were afraid of the management of the institution stated that they did not want to participate in the survey, that they thought they would lose their jobs or face a disciplinary investigation. For this reason, it was predicted that the employees in some units gave positive answers to all statements and avoided giving negative answers because they thought that they would be dismissed. For this reason, it is thought that the results were affected because the participants gave positive answers because they could not maintain their objectivity.
