The stages that have experienced Wahhabism from it's birth to it's present

The foundations of Wahhabism were laid in 1744 with the Dir'iye Alliance signed between Muhammad b Saud and Muhammad b Abdul Wahhab. It has passed through many phases until today, however has managed to continue its existence. In this way, first of all, the views and factors affecting the emergence of Wahhabism were examined. In other words, Salafism, Harîism, Zahirism, Ahmed b Hanbal and Hanbalism and Ibn Taymiyya and their views were examined. Again, within this framework, the political, geographical, religious and socio-cultural structure of the Hijaz region and especially the Necid region, where the foundations of Wahhabism were laid, were mentioned. In order to better understand the subject and comprehend the mentality of Wahhabism, the life and views of Ibn Abdul Wahhab are emphasized. Ibn Abdul Wahhab and Muhammad b Saud by combining forces with the Dir'iye Alliance, a sectarianization process was formed by fulfilling the rituals of Wahhabism, and this movement had become instrumental in achieving a political victory within the Saud family. As a result of this treaty, the Wahhabi sect had the opportunity to form and expand, the Saud family established the First Saudi State, their first state in the region too. Of course, one of the biggest reasons for the establishment of this state was the situation of the Ottoman Empire at that time. In this state structuring where religious fanaticism was at its peak, by taking control of the Hejaz region Wahhabbis carried out many activities in the context of fighting against bid'ahs and inviting people to tawhid, which are the practices of their sects. The wounds caused by the extreme attitudes they displayed while carrying out these activities could not be healed almost today. Although the Ottoman Empire's end to the First Saudi State partially frightened the Wahhabis and the Saudis, they could not eliminate the thoughts in their minds. The Saudi-Wahhabi state, which was established afterward, also came to an end by unable to continue its existence for a long time. The third state of the Saudi States, which was established by taking advantage of the subsequent World War, and known as the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia state today, was established by the Saudi-Wahhabi alliance. In this context, the Brotherhood organization, which contributed greatly to the establishment of the state, was examined. Subsequently, the discovery of oil and the changes in the state were mentioned. After briefly mentioning about what changes have occurred in Wahhabism and fanaticism, how Saudi and Jihad Salafism groups were formed, what these groups advocated and what they did, our study was finally concluded with brief information about the entry of Wahhabism into Turkey and its activities in Turkey.
