Abstract (EN)

In today's competitive conditions, it is quite difficult for enterprises to achieve their goals only through management activities. In this respect, organizations need leaders rather than managers. Especially, the effective use of transactional and transformational leadership corporate policies and plays an important role in terms of benefiting from the potentials of the employees. These two leadership styles', knowledge production processes and supporting the potentials of the employees make it easy to create green purchasing processes. The aim of the study is to investigate the effects of interactive and transformational leadership on green purchasing. In the research, all active and growing firms in the automotive and renewable energy sectors constitute the universe. The survey was conducted on 353 randomly identified employees. The data obtained from the questionnaires were analyzed by using descriptive statistics, correlation test and regression test. According to the results of the regression analysis, it was found that the management active and conditional awarding subscales with exceptions had a statistically significant and positive effect on the supplier information sub-dimension. In addition, it was found that the conditional reward sub-dimension had a statistically significant and positive effect on the green purchasing practices sub-dimension.
