Abstract (EN)
Corporate governance is defined as a concept that emphasizes sustainable growth and stability to successfully transfer business to future generation. The concept that allows companies to be managed in a professional, transparent, fair and responsible manner. Corporate governance is closely related to the level of institutionalization companies with the human resource practices performed by companies. In fact, there is no interference in the human resources practices of the companies, and the lack of such practices may be the biggest obstacle to the institutionalization of companies. Consequently, companies that cannot be institutionalized cannot be managed in an corporate governance approach that is described as a good management approach. For this reason, corporate governance interacts with human resources and institutionalization practices, which have an impact on the success of companies and even obtain a sustainable competitive advantage. In this context, the purpose of the study is to examine the impact of human resource practices on corporate governance. For this research, the study sample consists of 12 departments responsible for working in the food and beverage sector in İzmir town. In the study, qualitative data collection of the sample was performed through interviews, documentary analysis and observation methods. With the analysis and interpretation of the qualitative data, it was determined that there is no interference in the human resources practices in the enterprise involved in the study. It is concluded that the lack of human resources practices in companies constitutes the biggest obstacle to institutionalization and that this undermines the corporate governance approach.
