Abstract (EN)
-II- THE EFFECT OF FEEDS CONTAINING DIFFERENT LEVELS OF FISH OIL ON SOME BLOOD PARAMETERS AND PERFORMANCE VALUES OF BROILERS ABSTRACT This study is aimed to investigate the effects of feed without fish oil and feed with 2 % and 4 % fish oil on the performance and some blood parameters of broilers. 270 Ross 308 chicks were been daily used in this experiment. Chicks were divided into 3 groups; one control group and two experimental groups. The starter, finisher and before slaughtering feed which were used in the experiment were prepared by adding sunflower oil to the control group and adding fish oil to the experimental groups. The experiment lasted for 42 days. It was found that the differences among the groups were significant regarding the live weight and live weight gain in the starter period (p<0.05), regarding feed consumption before slaughtering period (p<0.01) and regarding feed conversion ratio in the finisher period and before slaughtering period. It was concluded that there was no difference in mortality. It was found that HDL from blood parameters in females, AST in males were higher in the group including 4 % fish oil compared to the control group (pO.Ol). No difference in trigliserit, cholestrol and LDL levels was found in the groups between the male and female animals. KEY WORDS: Broiler, fish oil, performance, blood parameters.
