Abstract (EN)

This project's main purpose is to demonstrate a link between prostate cancer severity and insulin-like growth factor in the presence of other risk factors like obesity or excess weight. The healthy, newly diagnosed cancer, and benign groups had a mean age of 50. The age-group connection was extremely significant (P =0.0003). A family history of prostate cancer was discovered in 19 cases (24%), but not in 61 instances (76 percent ). Patient with smoking shown asignificant correlation when compared newly diagnosed prostate cancerthan men with normal prostates (20% vs. 27%). (60 percent ). Our study pointed to establish the association between vitamin D levels and benign prostate hypertrophy and prostate cancer. CRP and PSA were substantially associated in cancer patients. The mean IGF-I levels in the two groups were significantly different (148.6 ng/mL in cases vs 123.7 ng/mL in controls; P=0.006). The CRP levels of patients with localized prostate cancer and BPH are not significantly different. The presence or absence of PSA had no effect on the CRP-stage relationship. The average zinc level in BPH patients was 98.64 mg/dL, lower than in the control group.
