Abstract (EN)
The objective of this study is to examine solely a genre, "prelude" for keyboard and piano, through a textural and stylistic approach. By doing so, it is aimed to create a bridge between the textural structures of preludes and how they are perceived by pianists at the core of performance. Having observed all the textural and stylistic aspects of the selected preludes related to the indicated time intervals, the organism of a genre which is especially important for the keyboard literature is deeply examined. Thus, it is targeted to identify to what distinct the preludes in Europe have common properties.
