Abstract (EN)

Dynamic changes and advances in work environments have created a great deal of pressure for organizations. Therefore, many organizations have implemented new strategies to improve employee performance and ensure efficient operations in such changing environments. Employee performance has become important for organizations in achieving their goals. This study examines the impact of employee training, job satisfaction, job characteristics, work meaning, and self-efficacy on employee performance. The research was carried out in the province of Babylon, located in the south-central region of Iraq. The research was conducted in health institutions in Iraq, and 280 employees working as technician, nurses, doctors and administrative staff in health services were included in the study by the way of convenience sampling method. The questionnaire method was used for data collection and the form was developed based on previous studies in the literature. The findings show the training and job satisfaction significantly and positively affect employee performance. On the other hand, job characteristics, work meaning, and self-efficacy have not significant effect on employee performance for the research sample.
