Experiencing filmmaking in Turkey during COVID-19 pandemic

Since the pandemic has been a part of our daily lives, the world has dramatically been in the direction of change. In fact, the film and television industry has been affected by Covid-19. This study focuses on the impact of Covid-19 on filmmaking from my perspective as an international student in Istanbul who tried to complete a film production project during the pandemic. That is why this study includes a literature review on the global film industry's condition during the pandemic and adjusting to the new normal. The study is constructed on my production experience and the production content; therefore, the discussions on the characteristics and genre of the production project are mentioned. Overall, this study constitutes the production project's theoretical base, including filmmaking during the pandemic and telling self-reflexive stories.
