Abstract (EN)

Malicious software is any software infecting operating systems beyond the user's knowledge in information systems, disrupting the working process by making unwanted changes, getting access to warrantless data, encrypting the system, causing destruction on the system, showing unwanted advertisements and being written by cybercriminals. Cyber threats have been increasing exponentially in today's world. Ransomware attacks are one of the most significant threats in the cyber world because of its unique and destructive characteristics. Furthermore, ransomware affects millions of computers. In this study, the potential damages caused by malicious software are examined both statically and dynamically in an experimental analysis environment formed to make the analysis more easily and quickly. The experimental analysis environment is created by combining two different study environments to examine the potential damages caused by malicious software both statically and dynamically, and to make the analysis more easily and quickly. Ransomware has gained prevalence worldwide and accordingly, has great importance. Ransomware and other types of software are analyzed, and the results produced by their destructive effects on operating systems are compared in the experimental analysis environment.
