Abstract (EN)

The works produced after Deleuze introduced his concept of Difference and Repetition view existence as dynamic, relational, and ever-changing. This perspective challenges traditional ontological thinking. The concept also finds expression in art, serving both as a medium for communicating social and political issues and as a tool for philosophical reflection and inquiry. Difference and Repetition is primarily concerned with the nature of existence and time. "Difference" represents the constant emergence of new things and change, while "repetition" represents the constant return and recurrence of these differences. These ideas encourage us to consider the circularity of time and the ever-changing nature of existence in Deleuze's thinking. However, the repetitions are never identical each one introduces a new difference and change. The short film titled Difference and Repetition explores the circularity of time and the themes of alienation, transformation, and predicament of the individual in relation to the land in which they live, drawing on Deleuze's ontology of difference.
