Abstract (EN)
Fifty human molars were bisected mesiodistally. For the st andardization of the groups 5 buccal and 5 lingual su rfaces were used in one group and the number of the specimens in one group arranged as 10. Thr ee groups are performed with adhesive systems (Adper Single Bond 2, Clearfil SE Bond, Xeno V) and then filled with composite restoration (Filtek Z250). For the other six groups, flowable composite systems (Filtek Ultimate, SDR) were used after the adhesive system application and filled with composite restoration and for the last group self-adhering flowable composite (Vertise flow) was applied and fille d with composite restoration. All of the materials used in this study were appl ied on the dentin surface according to manufacturer's instructions. A ll specimens were stored in di stilled water for 24 hours. All of the experimental groups were subjected of shear test. The statistical analysis of the results were performed by "Oneway Anova" and "Tukey HSD" tests (p<0.05). In conclusion, among the direct composite restoration groups, considering significant differences, a decrease in bonding strength was examined with the one- bottle self-etch adhesive system Xeno V group (p<0.05). Bond stre ngth significantly decreased using flowable composite systems with total-etch or one step self-etch adhesive systems (p<0.05) but no significant ch ange was observed when used with two step self-etch adhesive system (p>0.05). Su refil SDR flowable composite with different adhesive systems did not show any differen ces statistically (p>0.05). Vertise flow had statistically similar bond st rengths to Filtek Ultimate a nd SDR flowable composite systems (p>0.05). But Vertise flow showed significantly lower bond strength than composite groups used with only adhesive systems (p<0.05).Keywords: Flowable composite, self-etch adhesi ve systems, tota l etch adhesive systems.
