Abstract (EN)
This thesis study was carried out to determine the effect of different ecologies on yield and physiological parameters in Jelly potato plant grown in Saray district of Van, Bismil and Ergani districts of Diyarbakır in 2024. DAP (Diammonium Phosphate), 46% nitrogen, ammonium sulphate, humic acid, super phosphoric acid, calcium sulphate, potassium peroxide, micro element were applied during cultivation. Parameters such as tuber number, tuber length, leaf number, plant height, leaf area, yield per plant, yield per decare, tuber width and tuber weight were analysed. In general, the differences between locations and observations were found statistically significant (p<0.05) As a result of the measurements, the highest tuber length was measured in Saray district of Van with 10.36 cm, while the lowest tuber length was measured in Bismil district of Diyarbakır with 7.40 cm. The highest value of tuber width was measured at Bismil location with 9.06 cm and the lowest value was measured at Ergani location with 6.06 cm. The highest tuber weight was 123.30 g at Bismil location and the lowest tuber weight was 83.70 g at Van location. The highest number of leaves was determined at Bismil location with 76.00 leaves/plant and the lowest number of leaves was determined at Saray location with 70.00 leaves/plant. The highest leaf area was observed in potatoes grown in Bismil region with 3.57 cm2 and the lowest leaf area was observed in Ergani region with 2.93 cm2. The highest plant height was 60.00 cm in Bismil ecology and the lowest plant height was 48.00 cm in Saray district. Similarly, in yield per plant, the highest yield was obtained in Bismil district with 1277.10 g, while the lowest yield was obtained in Saray district with 911.20 g. The highest yield per decare was obtained in Bismil district with 6.39 tonnes. The lowest yield per decare was obtained in Saray region with 4.56 tonnes. In addition, as a result of the study, it is seen that the climate of Ergani and Bismil regions is warmer than Saray region and the soil structure is better, which increases the effect on yield and tuber size. Therefore, it was concluded that temperature has a positive effect on yield and quality in potato cultivation.
