Abstract (EN)

The research was carried out to determine the effect of different planting frequencies and fertilizer applications on some agronomic and quality characteristics of dill in the experimental field of Diyarbakır GAP International Agricultural Research and Training Center Directorate in 2023. The field trial was carried out according to a randomized block split plot design with 3 replications. Plant height (cm), number of branches (pcs/plant), number of umbrellas (pcs/plant), number of umbrellas (pcs/plant), seed yield (kg/ha), thousand grain weight (g), fresh and dry herb yield (kg/ha), essential oil content (%), essential oil yield (l/ha) and essential oil components were analyzed. At the end of the research; plant height was 116.20-129.53 (cm), fresh herb yield was 1106.13-2216.90 (kg/da), essential oil rate (%) in seed was 2.16-2.41, essential oil yield in seed was 3.43-6.85 (l/da). The main components of essential oil were carvone (50.14-64.01%) limonene (23.98-31.34%), cis-dihydrocarvone (4.41-12.53%), dill apiole (5.24-7.02%), trans-dihydrocarvone (0.83-2.45%). The best results were obtained at 20 cm planting density and chicken manure.
