Effects of different phosphorus doses on yield, yield components and essential oil ratio ofcoriander (Coriandrum sativum l.)

This research was carried out to investigate the effects of different phosphorus doses on some agronomical characteristics and essential oil ratio of coriander (Coriandrum sativum L.) in Yozgat ecological conditions at Topçu Research and Application Area of, Faculty of Agriculture, Yozgat Bozok University during 2018 vegetation period. In this study, two coriander cultivars (Arslan and Gürbüz) with different phosphorus (P2O5) doses (U-1: Control, U-2: 2kg / da, U-3: 4kg / da, U-4: 6kg / da, U- 5: 8kg / da and U-6: 10kg / da) were used. The research was established with three replications according to a split-plots design in random blocks. In the experiment, cultivars and phosphorus doses were included in the main and sub-parcels respectively. The sowing was made on 18 April 2018. According to the research results; plant height, number of branches per plant, number of umbel per plant, number of seeds per umbel, first branch height, thousand seed weight, biological yield, seed yield, harvest index, essential oil ratio and , essential oil yield values 43-53 cm, 4 -5 number, 5-7 number, 14-21 number, 22-30 cm, 10-28 g, 125-228 kg / da, 59-105 kg / da, 38-53%, 0.4-0.7% and 25- 59 L / da, respectively. It was determined that the values of seed yield, essential oil and essential oil yield, there was no statistical increase compared to increasing phosphorus doses
