Abstract (EN)

In the thesis study, it has been tried to find operational problems that can be observed during the production of methane because of the high concentration of ammonia in some animal manures. For this reason, the biogas production and the methane yields in the biogas were determined by using the mink manure, cattle manure, poultry manure, and corn silage individually and as a mixture. Experimental studies were carried out in Aristoteles University Agricultural Forest and Environmental Faculty Agricultural Building and Equipment Laboratory. The biogas yield changed in the range of 108,58 ± 2.80 – 615,50 ± 17.17 ml / gVS. Methane yields varied between 48,80 ± 1,56 - 380,23 ± 17,0 ml CH4 / gVS values. Key words: Biogas, anaerobic digestion, Biochemical methane potential,, energy, animal waste.
