Abstract (EN)
At the present time, dental implants have become the first treatment option that comes to mind in cases of partial and complete edentulism. Under occlusal forces, some stresses occur on natural teeth, implants and surrounding tissues. In this study, stress distributions of different implant-abutment connection designs were investigated by finite element analysis. In the study, implant systems with three different implant-abutment connection designs were modeled in a virtual environment. Later, these models were placed on the platform prepared in accordance with the ISO-14801 standard. Then, both static and 4Hz frequency and 1x106 cycle dynamic fatigue tests were applied with 300N force. According to the results of the study, different stress distributions were observed in different implant-abutment connection types. According to the results obtained, it is thought that the design of the implant-abutment connection will affect the prognosis of the implants.
