In this study, Trace, The Rare Earth analysis of pyrits in the formation ofhydrothermal Horzum (Kozan-Adana), masive sulfite Küre (Kastamonu), contactmetasomatic Karamadazı (Yahyalı/Kayseri) and sedimanter Germav (Şanlıurfa) aremade, and the results are compared.According to REE results; Co value is fairly low in Urfa samples (average1,075 ppm) whereas it is in high value in Küre and Karamadazı samples. On thecontrary, Ba values are in low value in Horzum, Karamadazı and Küre sampleswhereas they are 11,7 ppm in Urfa samples. Ni value shows significantly high valuein the samples of contact metasomatic Karamadazı samples (average 197,7 ppm) andlow value in hydrothermal Horzum region (average 34,5 ppm). As value is rather lowin sedimanter Urfa samples (<0,5 ppm), whereas it is considerably high inhydrothermal Horzum samples (average 649,7 ppm) and contact metasomaticKaramadazı samples (average 562,2 ppm).According to the SSE results of the samples taken from four regions, lightREE contents appeared to be higher than heavy REE contents.Key Words: Pyrite, REE, Trace ElementI
