Abstract (EN)

This study was organized to determine the silageability of ryegrass, an Italian grass variety, using different additives. Italian grass was harvested in the middle of the flowering period (50-60%). A mixture of barley and wheat was used as additives and SILAID (Global Nutritech Biotechnology LLC, Richmond, VA) containing cellulase, pentosanase and amylase together with Lacto bacillus plantarum and Entero coccus faecium bacteria with homofermentative content as inoculant. The inoculant used as an additive was used in line with the company's recommendation. Silage samples were prepared by adding 18x23 cm sized bags, without additives, control, 1% barley wheat crushed, 2% barley wheat crushed, 1% inoculant, 2% inoculant. The samples were stored at 20±2 °C in laboratory conditions. On the 60th, 75th and 90th days after ensiling, 3 bags from each group were opened and chemical and microbiological analyzes were performed on the silages. Aerobic stability test was performed on all silages opened at the end of the ensiling period. It is possible to say that the use of additives in silage samples has a positive effect on pH (4.16-4.48) and dry matter (27.81-29.39). In yeast values (3.32-4.45), yeast changes were observed to be low in the groups using inoculant, while the change was higher in the groups that included barley wheat cracking. When the lactic acid values are examined, it is seen that the prolongation of the opening time has an effect on the lactic acid values. When the lactic acid values (51,36-81,39) are examined, it is seen that the prolongation of the opening time is effective in the lactic acid values.
