Abstract (EN)

Due to the geographical structure, climate and geological characteristics of our country, landslides are repeated in the same region and turned into disasters. The main purpose of mitigating landslide damages is by developing and supervising the approaches that will eliminate the risk of loss of life and property or reduce it for a long time. In this context, the results to be drawn from the landslide records of the past constitute an important basis for the determination of the preparatory and triggering factors and the harm reduction activities to be made. In this study, landslide incidents in Adana, Saimbeyli, Feke and Pozantı districts, losses from landslides, effectiveness of disaster prevention and mitigation studies were evaluated by considering Disaster Law No. 7269. According to archive records, 161, 385, 157 effective transports were carried out as a result of 14, 39, 32 landslide events in Saimbeyli, Feke and Pozantı districts respectively. Land surveys conducted in Saimbeyli, Feke and Pozantı districts have evaluated landslide activity status in the regions.
