Woman magazines of consumer culture in Turkey, along with the ones presented to the women of the world, reflects the dense awareness of they produce as their nature. It is asserted in this thesis that woman has been pointed as an object of consumption culture in the magazines published in Turkey. In order to reinforce this assertation, some unitizations has been done and the matters in magazines has been solved by discourse analysis. It has been concluded that there are feminist factors in the magazines and thus their aim is to affect people by using woman. Indeed, it must be remarkable that woman becomes both consuming and consumed object of consumer culture in these magazines. With this point of view, Elle, Vogue, Cosmopolitan magazines has been selected as sample. While anlayzing the magazines it can be concluded that woman has been held as a consumption material and the magazines have designed with this approach. Clothes and make up of women have been re-designed with various electronic methods; their faces and bodies have been used to idealize of a woman image in a way which has never been possible. By doing this, they have aimed to affect people in their way and as a consequence magazines have become full of advertisement and consumption factors.
