A content analysis on theses on "Augmented reality (AR)" in the field of science education Turkey case (2011-2023)

The purpose of this research is to conduct a content analysis of master's and doctoral theses published in the field of education and science education, which contain the keyword augmented reality, published in the national thesis center. In this context, theses published between 2011 and 2023 were taken as basis. The content analysis technique of the qualitative analysis method was used in the research, and a total of 105 theses were reached, and 37 of them were determined to belong to science education. In the study, the years of the research, number of keywords, consultant titles, gender of the researchers who conducted the research, publication types, data collection tools, variables, participant type, fields of education, publication language, departments where the study was conducted, the university where the study was conducted, method types and designs were included.
