Abstract (EN)

ABSTRACT ı Fanâyî has lived between the second half of XVI. century and the first half of XVin. These years are very rich from the literary and mystical view point. Fanâyî's name is Mehmet, he is known also as Cennet Efendi. He used Fanâyî nickname. Probably, he was born 1577, in Tophane, Istanbul. He is a leader of Jalwati sufi order. He was died in 12 January 1665 in Uskudar. His grave is in Uskudar. Fanâyî is one of important sufi poets. He was two works, a pamphlet, another Diwan on which we studied. Our thesis consist of an introduction and four chapters. İn introduction, it was dealt with the political and literary situation in which he lived. In the first chapter, we studied life, sufi order, literary personality, works of Fanâyî. In the second chapter, we examined the religious and the mystical subjects and themes. In the third chapter it was dealt with some other matters under the title "Society and Nature". This is not completely separate and different from religion and tasawwuf. Lastly, the original text of Fanâyî's Diwan has been given. VI
