Feyza Hepçilingirler's children's books values education

The aim of this study is to examine the works written by Feyza Hepçilingiyor for children in terms of values education. In this context, in this study, "Winged Dot and Wormwood", "The Secret World of Our Letters", "The Turkish Song", "Fairy Tale Bozan Aunt Feride", "Mulberry Eaten Bülbül", "Letter from Ardahan", "Letter from Ayvalık", "Off, my tongue!", "Out of the box Hatice Aunt", "My Magician Father", "The Ugly Princess", "Who is Mother?" works were examined. Document analysis technique, one of the qualitative research methods, was used in the research. The works discussed in the study were examined by using the values of "justice, patriotism, friendship, honesty, self-control, patience, love, respect, responsibility, helpfulness" in the Turkish Curriculum of the Ministry of National Education. According to the results obtained from the study, the root values determined by the Ministry of National Education are frequently included in the works of Feyza Hepçilingir. It has been determined that the value of love is mostly included in the works. In addition, it was determined that the values of patriotism, responsibility and respect were given a lot of attention. It was observed that the values of justice and patience were given less place.
