Abstract (EN)

The aim of this thesis is to bring the third volume of Firdevsî-i Rûmî's Tecnîsât-ı Süleymân u Belkıs-nâme, which is mentioned in the sources but has not been revealed so far, to today's literary world. The study covers the third volume of Tecnîsât-ı Süleymân u Belkıs-nâme, which is four volumes and approximately 20.000 couplets long. In the first part of the thesis, information about the poet's life in the third volume of Tecnîsât is mentioned and inferences are made about his poetics. In the second chapter, the love story of Belkıs and Solomon, the subject of the work, is summarised, the didactic aspect of the work is emphasised based on the representations given at the end of each chapter, and the elements of social and cultural life are pointed out. In the third chapter, Volume III of Tecnîsât is analysed in terms of form and style, and the function of the ghazal verse form in the masnavi genre and the arts of pun (cinas) and rhymed prose (tarsî) are emphasised. In the fourth chapter, the quotations from the works of Ahmedî, Şeyhî and Üsküplü Atâ in Volume III of Tecnîsât are compared and the question "Nazire or plagiarism?" is answered. The fifth chapter analyses the orthographic features of Volume III of Tecnîsât, introduces the copies and lists the methods followed in text determination. The sixth chapter contains the conclusion, the seventh chapter the transcribed text and the eighth chapter a glossary of puns prepared to facilitate the understanding of the text.
