Abstract (EN)
In this study, suitable busbar selection has been made for the connection of photovoltaic (PV) power plants, one of the distributed generation sources, which have become increasingly widespread in recent years, to the distribution network. First of all, a power for the PV plant was determined and modeled on IEEE test busbar systems. The effect of 10 MW and 30 MW PV power plants on all system losses as a result of connection has been investigated. In this study, the effects of short-circuit currents are excluded from the scope of the study. Modeling and simulation were carried out through the licensed Electric Transient Analysis Program (ETAP). In the results, it has been observed that PV plants increase the busbar voltages in the grid connection and reduce the total system losses. In addition, it has been seen that it will be more advantageous to choose the busbars with high consumption for the connection of PV plants and to consume the energy where it is produced. It has been concluded that the use of short-length transmission lines while making the network connection of such power plants will have a decreasing effect on the busbar voltages.
