Evaluation of photovoltaic technologies investment in turkey-Tire Organized Industrial Zone case

In this thesis investigation of photovoltaic technology in terms of Turkey via a case study has been realized. As a case study, 500 kW solar photovoltaic power plant is selected and feasibility study of the plant has been conducted which is founded in Tire/ Izmir. Recently renewable energy usage is important on the other hand to select and establish the correct size of systems is crucial. Feasibility of a renewble energy sytem provides important knowledge regarding the expected and realized production rates which has significant importance for investors. As a result, within the this thesis a feasibility study for a photovoltaic solar energy power plant has been realized to help the institution and individual investors.
