Friedrich Nietzsche's criticism of moral values based on religion

The aim of our study is to demonstrate Nietzsche's approach to moral values, ın addition, his criticisms of the moral understanding based on religionare examined Nietzsche critcized existing moral system of his time. He divided people into weak and strong. People who accept values without qestioning are called herd people. Where as people who start qestioning onal discovering themselves, are called the superioer men. Since being a superior men requires strenght, he associated the superior men with the will of power. The moral system adopted by Nietzsche is the slave morality of the herd. Againstthis, the master morality formed by the superior men's will to power took place. Nietzsche's aim was to setnew values determined by heard. It is the superior men who will determine the new values. Religion- based moral values determined by herd people have caused decadence (collapse) in human life. Nietzsche also wants to save humanity from this decadence situation with new values. Qualitative research methods were usedc in our study. A field survey, article, theses and boks on the subject have been used. Nietzsche's approach to moral values and his criticism of religious – based moral values are discussed and mantioned in this study.
