Investigation of psychological endurance and stress perceptions of futsal players

The aim of this study is to investigate the psychological endurance and stress perceptions of players playing in the futsal teams of universities. Relational screening model was used in the research. This universe of Turkey in the 2018-2019 season survey Intercollegiate 1 in 7 men and 7 women who participate in competitions League futsal players in total 14 teams participated. The sample of the study consisted of a total of 150 players, including 64 female and 86 male futsal players selected using the random sampling method. "Psychological Resilience" and "perceptions of Stress" scales, which are the dependent variables of the research, were used. For descriptive statistics, arithmetic mean of the data, standard deviation, student t-test for difference between groups, pearson correlation coefficient between variables, and single sample t-test to examine the significance level of variables. SPSS 20 package program was used in all statistical analyzes and p<0.05 was taken as the level of significance. At the end of the study, it was observed that there was a significant correlation between the perceptions of stress and psychological resilience of all futsalists in favor of psychological resilience. It was observed that there is a significant relationship between the perceptions of stress and psychological endurance variables in favor of psychological endurance in male athletes. It was observed that there is a significant relationship between the perceptions of stress and psychological endurance variables in favor of psychological endurance in female athletes. Finally, there were no statistically significant differences between the two sexes in the perceptions of stress and psychological resilience in futsalists.
