Abstract (EN)
This study was carried out in the producer plot in the Çağbaşı district of Tarsus district of Mersin province in the period of 2021-2022. In 10 years old Gala Buckeye cultivar grafted on M9 apple rootstock, Levante, Erger + Active Erger, Brotstart, Dormex and Control (water) applications were applied, and resting breakage was investigated with phenological observations and pomological analysis. Due to the high winter temperatures in the region, it was determined that the variety emerged without resting without meeting the cooling requirement. In the control application, the dormancy was not homogeneous, and the pink bud time and flowering time came later than the other applications. It has been observed that the number of fruits and flowers is less and accordingly the yield is lower.
