Abstract (EN)

Nowadays energy necessity increase conssisttantly for developing country so increasing energy neccessity can provide to set up new power plant but also it is possible to increasing energy necessity can be provided a little with available systems recuperating performance. Especially increasing capacity with a little investment can provide important advantage on peak load. Losting performance due to ambient state on gas turbines can prevent with intake-air cooling so same performance can achieve conssisttantly. For recuperating effecting factors at simple gas turbine is respectively ambient temperature, relative humidity, working regime. Some systems has improved with considering these factors that combine cycle, intake-air cooling , reheat is appled methods.İntake-air cooling take importand role for efficiency and performance improving at countries which take part on hot climatic regions.İntake-air cooling methods have determined in our study. There are issued lots of studies and papers about this matter. We take model General Electric LM2500 gas turbine and using EES software programs for working on İstanbul weather condition annually and for all turbines accepted standart capacity value which İnternationale Standart Organization (ISO) is indicated working state that 15 ºC entrance air temperature ,%60 relative humidity, sea level 101,3 kPa ,energy production quantification also using intake-air cooling methods and depending on increasing performance and efficiency can has produced energy quantification was compared. We investigated using intake-air cooling method with gain energy economic determination for simple gas turbine systems. Keywords; Gas turbine, evaporative cooling, mechanic cooling
