Analysis Gazi University faculty of education music teaching programme's piano students' anxiety level at mid term exam to final exam process in accordance with performance level

ANXIETY LEVEL AT MID TERM EXAM TO FINAL EXAM PROCESS IN ACCORDANCE WTH PERFORMANCE LEVEL UMUZDAS, Mehmet Serkan Master Degree, Branch of Music Teacher Education Music Teaching Science Adviser: Prof. Gül CIMEN May ? 2007 The aim of this research is to determine, Gazi Education Faculty Music Teaching Programme piano students mid term exam and final process between anxiety of levels determination, this view suggest to prevent from anxiety harm effect. The aim of research is to give suggestion for determine anxiety level of Gazi University Faculty of Music Teaching Programme piano students? mid term to final exam process, to reduce or block bad conditions of anxiety. This study come into prominence by be able to determine anxiety level studying students at Music Teaching Programme, be able to contribute literature by studies directed to completion deficiencies through results of research, be able to give advice other researches about this subject(topic) and being a new source. In research, in order to determination anxiety that between Gazi Education Faculty Music Teaching Programme?s piano students? midterm exam to final exam process, descriptive method were used. In 2006-2007 academic year, 200 students are studying at Gazi University Gazi Faculty of Education Music Teaching Programme. In this study, 150 students who gets piano lessons obligatory were attached to the research. Results, reached by method of survey. The survey includes 25 questions about leverage of anxiety and four different questions that used for factor analysis, in total 29 questions. These are major results of study: 1) It is determined that opinion of ?the assessments are done by commission is a factor at students success? results high level anxiety. vi 2) It is determined students? anxiety leverage points at significant diversity according to their success at mid term exams.
