Abstract (EN)

In this study, atmospheric fungus spore sampling performed, with volumetric method by using Lanzoni VPSS 2000 spore trap during two years between 01 January 2010 and 31 December 2011 of Gaziantep Province. As a result of the study, 211.521 s/m3 belonging to 48 genera and 4 fungal group were recorded. 39 genera belonging to Ascomycota (Alternaria, Antennularia, Arthrinium, Ascobolus, Beltrania, Bipolaris, Botrytis, Chaetomium, Cladosporium, Curvularia, Dictyosporium, Didymella, Drechslera, Epicoccum, Erysiphe, Exosporium, Fusarium, Helicomyces, Helminthosporium, Leptosphaeria, Melanomma, Nigrospora, Oidium, Ophiobolus, Paraphaeosphaeria, Periconia, Pestalotiopsis, Pithomyces, Pleospora, Polythrincium, Rosellinia, Spegazzinia, Sporormiella, Stemphylium, Tetracoccosporium, Tetraploa, Torula, Trichothecium ve Ulocladium), 8 genera belonging to Basidiomycota (Agrocybe, Boletus, Bovista, Coprinus, Ganoderma, Laccaria, Puccinia and Ustilago) and 1 genus belonging to Oomycota (Peronospora) divisions were determined in Gaziantep atmosphere in 2010 and 2011. Aspergillus/Penicillium spores type, one-septate Ascospores, spores of Myxomycota and hyphal fragments were also recorded as fungal groups. The relationship between fungal spore concentration and several meteorological parameters was examined. Cladosporium was determined as the dominant taxon (56.48 %), hyphal fragments (14.94 %), Ustilago (13.96 %) and Alternaria (5.79 %) were revealed as the common fungal aerosols of Gaziantep atmosphere. The relationship between fungal spore concentrations and several meteorological parameters was examined. A two-year spore calendar of Gaziantep Province was prepared.
