Investigation of morphological and molecular (COI and ITS) of Xysticus spiders (Thomisidae) in Gaziantep province

Abstract (EN)
In this study, spiders of the genus Xysticus (Thomisidae) collected from the Gaziantep province were investigated using morphological and molecular methods. Between the months of April-October in 2014-2016, 96 samples were analyzed. On the basis of morphological study, five species Xysticus caperatus (Simon, 1875), X.edax(O.PickardCambridge,1872),X.marmoratus (Thorell,1875),X.pseudorectilineus (Wunderlich, 1995), X. tristrami (O.P.-Cambridge, 1872) belonging to one genera (Xysticus C. L. Koch, 1835) were identified. The genus Xysticus was analyzed by using 2 gene regions (mitochondrial COI and nuclear ITS). Intraspecies and interspecies similarity rate is calculated. The morphological and molecular datas were consistent with each other.
