Abstract (EN)
Western Bloc together with the globalization of having liberal understanding had many advantages in economic and political sense according to the Eastern Bloc. This change manifests itself in the efforts to reform the existing structure of the Eastern Bolc showing itself being the change of understanding. Begining İn Poland in 1989 and the same year collapsing of the Berlin Wall in 1991 as a result of the ongoing quest of new developments began a period of. which culminated in the collapse of the former Soviet Union. In this respect, a gate of a period was opnened that rechanged the world's economic balance of power. With this process, abandoning the centrally planned economy; changed to market economy being as named the countries ?Transition Economics? (Transition economies) model. Transition from central planning to market economy liberalization, macroeconomic stabilization, restructuring and privatization finally to the legal and institutional reforms were outlined in the transition process. The Soviet Union, the countries of transition to market economy is divided into several groups with each other. An arm of Former Soviet Union also is Independent States Society. Implementation of reforms in the CIS countries is limited and modest at the same time as each other are separated. Purpose of this study was the CIS countries the competitiveness of the economy between 1995-2011 years from politics investigate the effects of liberalization in the commercial sense. Accordingly, trade liberalization and competitiveness between 1995-2011 years panel data analysis was conducted using data. increased trade liberalization as a result of this research, it was seen that played a decisive role in increasing the country's competitiveness. Reforms limited to countries that practice a moderate increase competitiveness at the international level in countries observed, increasing the competitiveness of the products, while countries with limited reforms limiting the competitiveness of products is increased.
