From past to present the maqam of muhayyer sünbüle

The aim of this research is to examine and interpret the development of maqâm of muhayyer sünbüle, one of the maqams of Turkish classical music, within the historical process, to determine the consistency between the composed works in maqâm of muhayyer sünbüle and maqâm of muhayyer sünbüle descriptions given by theorists and musicologists and thus notating the works composed in maqâm of muhayyer sünbüle again. In order to provide the required data for the research, TRT Turkish classical music repertoire has been used. With this research, the works in maqâm of muhayyer sünbüle have been notated again, by musical examination and interpretation of these works, determination of the development of maqâm of muhayyer sünbüle within historical process has been intended.
