Abstract (EN)
In today's era of digital transformation, accelerated especially by the COVID-19 pandemic, technological advancements have brought new demands and challenges to institutional information systems. Sudden traffic surges, diversified data sources, ever-changing technological requirements, and increased integration of mobile and IoT devices have revealed the limitations of traditional systems. In this context, the study focuses on the re-architecture of critical institutional systems—including student information systems, electronic document management systems, email infrastructures, mobile application integrations, and workflow management—based on the microservices architecture. Throughout the transition process, modern software development practices such as container-based virtualization technologies, API gateway management, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) have been effectively implemented. In addition to the technical transformation, a DevOps-oriented organizational culture was adopted to strengthen collaboration between development and operations teams. This cultural shift was systematically managed as part of the broader transition process. Furthermore, distributed data management strategies-integral to modern distributed architectures-were implemented to restructure the data infrastructure, ensuring consistency, high availability, and scalability. As a result, this holistic transformation encompasses not only infrastructure modernization but also the restructuring of institutional processes from a digital transformation perspective. The experiences gained provide a valuable strategic and technical reference for institutions planning similar technological transitions.
