Abstract (EN)
The stresses and distortions that are the needs of using welding sequences are reviewed. The characteristics of shipbuilding steels are surveyed. Ship constructions and elements are introduced and stresses on ships are reviewed, some basic information is given for choosing the places to be checked. The effect of welding type to the arrangement of welding sequences in shipbuilding is reviewed. The effects of construction systems used in shipbuilding to selection of welding sequences and types are determined. Welding sequences are shown with figures in different construction types. The limit values of distortions that can occur after welding are given, which are published by classification societies.Applied test types and choosing the test place are focused in arrangement of welding test plans. In final stage, construction stages are given and welding sequences are arranged in an example ship. Finally, critical places are chosen and the welding test plan is formed.
