Abstract (EN)
In this study, the leadership behaviors perceived by experts and coaches working in the Provincial Directorates of Youth and Sports were determined and the effects of these perceived leadership behaviors on job stress and job performance levels were examined. The universe of the study consisted of 320 people, 142 women and 178 men, who worked as experts or coaches in the Provincial Directorates of Youth and Sports. In order to determine the leadership behaviors perceived by experts and coaches in the study, the perceived leadership behavior scale, the job performance scale and the job stress scale were used. The data obtained in the study were analyzed in the SPSS 25 program. As a result of the analysis, a negative relationship was found between employee leadership behavior and work life stress, while a positive relationship was found between job performance. While a significant positive relationship was found between task-oriented leadership behavior and job performance, a non-significant positive relationship was found between them and job stress. In change-oriented leadership behavior, a positive and insignificant relationship was found with work life stress, while a positive and significant relationship was found with job performance. A non-significant positive relationship was found between work life stress and job performance. As a result, it has been observed that leadership behavior styles create different psychological and physiological states on employees and accordingly, different leadership behaviors affect the job stress and job performance levels of employees.
