Abstract (EN)

In this study, it is aimed that calculating optimum module of planetary gear mechanism using by genetic algorithms which is a new optimization technique and recently used in many fields. Defined resistance limits and certain differences of planetary mechanism which does not exist in conventional mechanism like reductor is taken into account when designing gears used in planetary mechanism. Results gained by conventional calculation methods not only taking long time but also sometime are not logical for these reasons, trying technique different than traditional methods is appeared as an inevitable obligations. In this studies, as an objective function it is aimed calculation of optimum module, dimensions of gear is prevented Exceeding systems limited main dimensions by thing into consideration of limited main dimensions of a sample mechanisms as a constrain function. Matlab 7.0 is used solutions of GA and gained resulting are converted table and graphs. In addition, fitness function graph of gained results for different transmission ratio and planet numbers is given one by one. vii The comparison of genetic algorithm and other calculation methods based solutions showed that genetic algorithms can be used in the design and optimization of planetary gearboxes problems. Study has been limited by one line basic planetary gears.
