Abstract (EN)
In recent years, with the increase in electric vehicles, studies on battery management systems have accelerated. Rechargeable batteries, which are used to independently supply energy to electronic systems without relying on the city grid, are now widely used in various fields such as mobile vehicles, electronic devices, and external power sources. To maintain battery life, ensure cell health, and guarantee battery safety, it is essential to monitor the battery cells during charging and discharging. The developed battery management system includes all the necessary components, software, and hardware integration for monitoring, managing, and ensuring the safe operation of the batteries. The design of such a system plays a critical role in enhancing energy efficiency, extending battery life, and ensuring safety. For the battery management system design, objectives such as correct charging and discharging management, temperature monitoring, preventing overcharging or deep discharge, and extending battery life must be clearly defined. To be real-time, the battery's status must be continuously monitored, and the system should respond quickly and operate with low latency. Based on this information, the hardware design components and software design were carried out to create a real-time battery management system.
