Abstract (EN)
In sheet metal forming applications, springback is a fact that should be considered in order to acquire the desired part shape. In this study, the springback of sheet metal bending is examined. To simulateV-die bending operations of aluminum sheets and to determine the amount of springback, finite element method is utilized. Changes in the form of the aluminum sheet parts after springback are presented. The amount of springback, total equivalent plastic strains, and von Mises stresses are represented graphically. For aluminum bent products with different thicknesses, a good agreement has been observed between the finite element results and experiments. Keywords: Springback, Bending, Finite Element Method
